Duck Bunny Theatre was born as a testing ground for new comedic work and is a both a platform for playwriting and at times the temporary artistic home to a group of theatre artists focused on performing satirical works; which make explicit, the ridiculous that is hidden in plain sight. Duck Bunny brings to the stage new works by NZ playwright Alister Emerson and insightful texts written by established playwrights we admire. We also love to foster new talent and support emerging artists we believe in to collaborate, improvise, write, devise, perform and produce original work.
